Redding Police added a form on its website in November 2014 that allows the community to report illegal encampments. Since then, over 400 reports have been submitted through our website.
You may use the link below to visit our Illegal Encampment web form and submit a report. The web form also allows users who are reporting illegal camps to add photos and describe the location in detail.

“Driving is a complex task, requiring a motorist’s full attention,” CHP Commissioner Joe Farrow said. “Imagine driving for four or five seconds while blindfolded. That can be the effect of looking down while driving to send a text message. In the average time it takes to send a text message – less than 5 seconds – a car travelling 60 mph will travel the length of a football field.”
